Here a pencil's drawing, I'll post soon the coloured final version of the illustration.

Pirates always inspire me I don't know why, i mean they are the bad guys of the situation,
they attack and robe ships, but all the kids are playing pirates games
putting on pirates costumes at the parties as I did.
It's a really common theme but still a strange combination if you think about it.

BRITISH ANIMATION AWARDS 2012

SAFE has been selected to be part of the shortlist of

Best Student Film for the British Animation

Awards 2012 at the BFI SouthBank London.

Animation directed by Ginevra Boni

SAFE was a project pitched in December 2010

at London College of Communication by Ginevra Boni

and produced from February to beginning

of June by students, friends, sound designers.

-It's been leaded by Ginevra Boni who Written,

Directed, Designed, Produced, Animated,

made the puppets, Editing and Post

Production (special effects, etc.).

-Francesco Ghersina is Co-Writer, main Animator,

Green Screen Artist, Puppet &

Props Maker, Music Composer.

-James O'Sullivan is the main

Set/Environments/Props Maker.

-James O'Neill helped with Puppets.

-Jack Wilkins helped with lights.

-Alex Parperis helped with the Animatic.

-Giulio Ammendola Composed the Music too,

made the sounds effects and mixed with Marcos Gomez.

I worked on this production for the last few months as Animator, Puppet Maker, in Green Screen and as Music Composer.
The full film is not online yet, cause it's submitted and hopefully screened in a few Festivals.

Here my first "Framed Puppet", I've used the character I made for SAFE Animation directed

   by Ginevra Boni.

   I thought that use a puppet for make like "3d Illustrations" could be really nice, and it give you a
   lot of freedom, cause you can choose from where shoot it, the light, and you can have a big editing after,
   changing a lot of stuff, details colours.
